Bio Sketch

Kat Lehmann is the author of Moon Full of Moons (Peaceful Daily, 2015), winner of the 2016 Royal Dragonfly Book Award (Poetry). Her poems have been published in twenty-five journals and anthologies. She is a research scientist and does her best writing after the children go to bed.

  1. Combined with the fresh and thought-provoking juxtaposition of punctuation marks and shadows (cast by the moon's light), the functional implications of the process of "," becoming "." and the symbolic significance of moonshadows make this haiku of a philosophical bent effective.
